Perficient is currently looking for a Software Developer who will work hands-on designing and writing code based on detailed requirements and system specifications. Developers may work with front-end web development, mobile applications, back-end API development, and/or databases (SQL / NoSQL) depending on need and/or expertise. Development activities will include updating existing software and/or developing new applications to address a specific customer need or to solve a particular business problem. This role will contribute to all development activities including design, coding, testing, certification, documentation, and deployment.
What do you need to come aboard?
- .Net 6/Core/4.6 for Backend APIs
- Azure Cloud & Azure DevOps for Infrastructure and CI/CD
- Experience or knowledge of RESTful web services
- Full lifecycle System development using standard design patterns/frameworks, such as SOLID design patterns, Event-based, Domain-Driven Development, and Microservices.
- Broad software project delivery experience in leading technical efforts developing applications using a variety of tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience with Microservices and Azure cloud deployment
- Performance tuning, usability assessment/improvement, automation technologies
- Knowledge of identification/remediation of software issues related to code or solutions quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks and software usability or end-user-related issues.
- Experienced knowledge of maintenance and debugging of live software systems.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
To Rock This Role, You Should:
- Perform full lifecycle application development using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns.
- Execute coding, unit testing, and debugging applications in various software languages.
- Execute software testing and quality assurance.
- Carry out performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation processes.
- Document software code and ensure that technical documentation i.e., configuration guides, and installation guides meet the requirements.
- Integrate software with existing systems.
- Maintain compliance standards.
- Implement localization or globalization of software.
- Work closely with senior developers, software engineers, and architects to gain additional knowledge and expertise.
- Engage proactively in the remediation of software issues such as code quality, pattern mismatches, and security issues related to the code/configuration.
- Automate testing processes by developing unit test scripts, as needed.
