Perficient is currently looking to add a dynamic and talented Data Engineer to our Data Team. Ideal candidates will have +3 years of experience specifically focused on working with PySpark, Databricks and Azure.

What do you need to come aboard?

  • Artboard The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, with experience in Data warehousing and Cloud programming.
  • Artboard You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Artboard Design, develop, test, and implement data pipelines to and from Azure Platforms using tools and technologies including Spark frameworks, Python, Scala, Databricks, and shell scripting.
  • Artboard Experience with Pyspark.
  • Artboard Experience with Azure and Databricks, and database design is necessary.
  • Artboard Experience with CosmosDB (or NoSQL DB) and Terraform is a nice to have.

To Rock This Role, You Should:

  • Artboard Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Artboard Analyzing data to obtain new insights and hidden patterns that will lead to improved efficiencies.
  • Artboard Analyzing the statistical relationship of data to a problem to be solved using PySpark and Azure Functions.
  • Artboard Excellent communications skills.
  • Artboard Proactiveness, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement skills.
